Ready to get started with your training? GREAT! We are, too. The Longsnouts niche is that we love to have F-U-N with our dogs. Sure, manners are important, but don't we all learn faster when our relationships are strong and engaging?

Check your newsletter for any updates! Haven't subscribed? We'd be happy to help, just let us know.

CURRENTLY ON THE DOCKET:

Our class sizes are small - typically no more than 10 human/canine pairs - and we encourage all current COVID-19 and canine respiratory disease safety protocols.

NOTE:  Our general rule of thumb for being outside is no inclement weather and temps need to be 'above freezing' (32 F) for winter and that the heat/humidity is below 90F for summer.

We do things a little differently around here! There are 3 main Longsnouts options:

- Rolling Admissions: means you can jump in when you'd like, no need to wait for a 'start date'

- Play Card Option: we have a 5-class "punch card" where you can try on different styles of classes, just RSVP and let us know when you're coming. Play Card is valid 90 days from purchase, unless discussed with instructor.

- Single Class:  during the height of our class season, all classes are available in singles, which means you can try one out without needing to commit (but we'll always welcome you back!)

SATURDAYS:

Urban Manners @ 10:30am. Now Rolling Admission, too!

Not everyone knows that Hannah got her dog training start in NYC, where dogs go pretty much everywhere. There is actually a whole lotta skill that goes into partnering with your dog in any type of Urban environment. Join us to learn the ins, outs, and sometimes on!

This is an Intermediate level class.

Ask about our Play Card option...access to training is always our goal!

Ready to register? Excellent! Head here.

SUNDAYS:

Fit Club @ 1:30pm  Launching February 2nd!

Why, yes, dogs DO benefit physically and mentally from having their own workouts. Not to mention the long-term benefits of living longer, potentially with fewer injuries and a whole heckuva lotta confidence. (Have you seen Kenna sashay down the street?!)

Want to be a part of our Fit Club? We'll be following the same workout each month, talking through modifications and increasing challenges each week. Class will be held over zoom until the weather gets warm enough to be outside.

Classes are designed for injury-free, otherwise healthy doggos. Skills learned will also apply for AKC Fit Dog sign-offs.

Ask about our Play Card option...access to training is always our goal!

Ready to register? Excellent! Head here.

TUESDAYS:

Create Calm + Connection @ 6:00pm February 4th through early March

Is your dog's social neutrality a primary goal? If your dog blows past you to get outside through any door, this is the class for you.  If you want to travel with your doggo and have the best behaved dog at the campsite or brewery patio this summer, this is your class! If putting on a leash, harness & gear feels like an exercise in patience....yeah, this is the class for you.

We will:

- work on self-control/chill in a variety of situations,

- learn to excel at Mat Relaxation (different from "place"),

- create connection through patterns and enhanced skills

- connect to a release cue + why it's a critical skill

- identify one specific skill to problem-solve...and slice it down

Mostly-online class, so great for practicing with fewer distractions! Weather-provided, we'll try and meet in-person for one group Practice Sesh. This is a 5-week launching pad for many Longsnouts classes.

Ready to register? Excellent! Head here.

:: COMING IN MARCH ::

We are giddy with excitement at what's coming your way as soon as the weather is more consistently...less awful. All the classes listed will be offered at least 1-2 times per month, many at varying levels to accommodate schedules and abilities. The standard Longsnouts rolling admission and Play Card or single class options will still be available. Check the calendar for specific days and times!

YES, Confident Puppy is making a springtime comeback, but here’s the scoop: it’s only popping up 2-3 times a year, and will not be rolling admissions.

MONTHLY MEETUPS & URBAN PACK WALKS - they're coming back!

Our goal is to host one per month - we're looking at the calendar with some of our fave training groups to set some dates! Free for all to attend, as long as you're willing to follow our guidelines. Fantastic practice for all levels of dogs; we're happy to give you the space or time you need. Are you working towards your AKC Fit Dog? Awesome, we are, too!

Stay tuned for 2025 dates!

Weather issues? We will walk if the weather is above freezing (32 F) and *not* raining or heavy snow. RSVPs are required; there is a 10 person/dog limit. You don not have to be a Longsnouts client to join, however, this is not a "class." Pack Walks are a place to practice and Hannah will likely have one of her #PermaDogs in attendance for their own practice. RSVP here.

- Stay tuned for spring schedule!

** These classes are rolling admission and Play Card eligible, so you're welcome to join whenever you'd like! Reminder: you have 90 days to use your Play Card, unless you chat with the Team.
