Noses for Nature

We're teaching a workshop at the MI Folk School! Part presentation and part live demonstration, this session shows how dogs use their extraordinary noses to locate conservation targets and what it takes to develop a successful detection dog from the ground up. You’ll learn about selecting the right dog, training and handling techniques, and the physical preparation needed for field work. Perfect for anyone who wants their dog to 'sniff in the wild,' whether for invasive species, morel mushrooms, or antler sheds. Link to register is here.

September 2nd @ 6:00pm (CLASS FULL)

October 20th @ 6:00pm
